Very friendly staff, responds to any request at any time. And the whole island is very friendly. The hotel is clean, fairly new. The rooms are good, just not the ones that go on the road. We lived in precisely this, were able to sleep there overnight. Then we went to the reception, said that interferes with the noise of cars. We moved to the opposite side, the view of the palm trees and mountains. Air conditioning broke down again, and we immediately moved for the night in a different room. Thank you to the guy at the reception, who works at night. The breakfasts were very tasty, they are well prepared. They ate in cafes, which are close by. We had dinner on the beach at the Blue Elephant, Russian cafe, which was found by accident, near the Chinese temple on meyname. The food is amazingly tasty and satisfying and all the days of eating there. We took a scooter rental, a bargain for 2300 for 10 days for 150 cc, drove it 700 miles across the island, the best means of transportation. Taxis are expensive from 400 and up around the island, it makes no sense to trade. A guy with a big thank you to the reception, with long hair. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Really nice rooms, helpful and friendly staff! The best cleaning services of all the hotels I visited around Thailand. No bugs. Good location near Mae nam beach. Also nice and clean pool on the roof with showers. Good breakfast, you can choose from the menu. The room was quite hot around the clock. On several nights there was a strong smell of smoke in the room wich caused headache and it was hard to sleep. The staff said they where burning glass outside somewhere near the hotel and there was nothing to do about it. If this burning is done on a regular basis, staying on this area is not a good idea if you suffer from asthma or similar condition. Without the smoke problem I would go again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a restaurant near this hotel, about 300 m right from the main door, opposite side of the road: NUCH restaurant (formely by the name Uncle Noi). Owned by local warm and friendly women, delicious food, good price and a wide selection of dishes. Also the best coconut shake I ve ever had in Thailand. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This hotel is good value for hot deal promotion . Sorry to say, but it would not be worth paying full price for the room. The only negative was poor breakfast in a too warm area behind the reception. The hotel is on the main street and it only takes a few minutes to reach the beach. We expected it too be closer to the Lomprahya pier. But if you book your ferry tickets three days in advance on internet itransfer is included. All services at Amarin Samui hotel was excellent, especially at the reception. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Hi, I stayed for 2 nights, because I wanted to escape the noise from Chaweng. Very nice hotel, very clean, free and quick wireless LAN, very quiet, not direct at the beach, but very close. Very friednly people, coffee and water in the room for free, and very good price. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Very good hotel , staff is very helpfull. Some migt say that the hotel is far from the popular beaches, but this is what we needed, peacefull location with a vilage feel will go back again

The hotel looked far better on the photos than in real life. It had defenitely seen better days, probably sometime in 90s. For the quality it was too expensive. Friendly service, clean room (with not so good view), and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. Everything was ok, but expected more. Breakfast was nice but the food ordered from room service was not so. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

We had a very warm welcome. The staff was very obliging and concerned about our wishes. The rooms are spacy and clean but not very bright. The range of the breakfast menu is not very broad.
